Ohana Picnic

We had a fun afternoon today. Ame's hula group has an Ohana Picnic about this time
every year. The kids had a blast with the bounce/slide, as well as other games and activities.
Of course a hawaiian party, isn't a party without the yummy local food-short ribs,
kalua pork, rice and mac salad.
We left the park with some prizes, full bellies and
worn out kids!
Who could ask for anything more??

Don't the end of the summer parties become more meaningful--guess we want to hold on for as long as we can to those lazy-crazy days of summer. Sounds like a fun day!!

It's really cool that she gets to experience extra culture enhancement with Hula class. I'm not sure where I'd ever find that around here, so it's great you have it!
