can't forget my other two...

Last Month we were lucky enough to join in
Cooper's special day.  I am soo impressed at what
an amazing kid Cooper is.  So talented and just
a GOOD young man.  Such a good example for
my Kaipo...

And Nalu, well he just continues to talk up a storm
and get cuter and CUTER!
And thinks he just as big as his older siblings.
He wants to do everything they are doing...

I just love this kid to pieces.  He is soo excited
and happy about life! I could learn a thing or
two from him!!!!

Fieldtrip with someone special

Ame came on a Fieldtrip with our fourth grade earlier in the week.
All of us (120 students, 5 teacher and about 20 parents)
rode the Frontrunner to SLC to see a show at Clark Planetarium,
then we headed to Gateway where the kids ate lunch and ran through
the fountains.

Ame has become pretty good friends with many of the
girls in my class, as she has come a few times, to join
in some of our activities throughout the year.

It wasn't the warmest day, but that didn't stop these
crazy kids from running through the fountains
and having a blast!

I sure LOVE my special time with this girl!
She was soo excited to come on this fieldtrip
with me, and I felt the same way.

goin' fishing

Friday was our 4th grade Rendezvous.
This is a BIG undertaking, but one of the teachers
I teach with has done it for years, so she
has it down to a science.  The students got to
have a REAL mtn man come and talk with them
and share cool stuff, then we headed outdoors
to play games, make marshmallow shooters
and FISH with our hands. I just couldn't pass
up the opportunity to catch a fish myself.
It took several attempts and a few freak-outs
b4 I actually caught one.  Then we got to eat em.
We had some dads come and fillet them and fry em
up.  Quite tasty!!  The day ended with a "trading post".
Over the past several months the students
have earned beaver pelts and then they got to
buy/barter for items they wanted from the trading post.
It was a super fun day.  The weather was cool, but
the rain held off, so we were able to carry out
all our activities out doors.  I am soo lucky to
work with such amazing teachers, who are
incredibly organized and plan soo many
awesome acitivities!

preschool

Ash had his end of year preschool program last week.
It was soo cute.  Each student was suppose to dress
up like a Nursery Rhyme character.
So Ash wanted to be JACK be NIMBLE.
He sure made a cute Jack.
He has had such an AMAZING teacher.  They have
learned and done soo many things.  They learned
a nursery rhyme for every letter of the alphabet.
Miss Mary did soo many fun activities and Ash has
learned soo much this year.  He is soo ready for
Kindergarten, and it can't come soon enough for him!

One fun activity I was able to take off work for
was a Mother's Day tea Party.  Ash made me a
book, including all that he LOVES about me.  The kids
served us TEA (lemonade) and cookies, made us
flowers and sang us cute songs.  It was
such a fun time I got to spend ONE-on-ONE with
my sweet little Ash!
