One ready mommy......

For any onlookers who are interested, but mostly for my future reference, this is me @ 38 weeks, ready for our little boy to come. Although some days I think it is easier to have him right where he is, I am also very ready for him to join our family. I am pretty much as ready as I could ever be, in every way possible. We will keep everyone updated on his arrival (hopefully really soon!!)

Fun @ the park

Saturday evening we took the kids and a picnic, with my parents, to the park. I can't believe the beautiful weather streak we have had. It has been wonderful! But I hear it is sadly coming to an end soon. Ame so desperately wanted to fly a kite, unfortunately there was no wind and the kite we got was a pretty sad one. So if she could keep it together for very long, she pretty much just ran holding the kite in the air. Not quite kite flying. Hopefully we will have better luck next time!

Ward Party Success

I was called to be the Ward Activities Director a couple months or so ago and right away had a big event to plan for-Our Ward was organized 6 years ago and so they traditionally have a "Ward Brithday Party" every year, which I had to plan this year. I spent several weeks trying to get my committee to have a mtg and had little help. But over several weeks I was able to get enough support to get plans made and it all came together last minute. We played games and had ice cream and cake. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun and I had lots of positive feedback afterwards. I thought the stress of this event would definitely put me in labor, but no such luck!
