How did this happen??? My oldest is 9?!

I couldn't be more proud of this girl and ALL of her

natural talent, beauty and accomplishments.

She is one of a kind, very sensitive and always thinking of others!

She is soo incredibly smart and tries hard at everything she does.

She is very determined and when she sets her mind to

something, there is no stopping her!

You are amazing and I feel like the luckiest mom in the world

to have YOU as my only daughter and my firstborn.

What an example you are to your brothers

and a tremendous leader to your friends and family.

So she was VERY specific about her birthday requests...

Starting with Einstein Bagels and hot chocolate for breakfast.

She opened presents that morning before mom had

to race off to school and the kids shortly after.

She was soo excited to get this present...

HORSES are her passion these days!

She took her camera to school

She has some really fun, cute friends

And she took a few of them for her BIG request

HORSEBACK RIDING

Ame is such a natural on a horse.

Ever since we went to Canada and she rode

a horse for the first time, she has been

in LOVE with horses.

She was definitely HAPPY this wish came true!!

Then her cousins, Olivia and Ella came up

for a sleepover. The kids had pizza, watched movies,

stayed up WAY too late, and had homemade

ice cream cake. It was YUM!!

Another of her birthday gifts was SING IT-Disney

for the Wii. She didn't ask for that

specifically, but rather a Karaoke Machine.

This seemed to fill the request, but even better!

And if ALL that wasn't enough for this

birthday girl, the next day mom took her and her cousins

to get FEATHERS in their hair.

When we took the girls back we used Ame's birthday

gift card to Tucano's (a favorite place for this meat eater).

She was in Heaven! All our kids just love that place.
We have some serious CARNIVORES...

It was a EXTRA busy week for this

working mom, to shop for gifts

AND plan all this fun stuff .

But it was all worth it, to see her super

excited and having a BLAST!!
