Our good friend's, the Jordyns, called yesterday and said they were taking their kids to see the lights @ Temple Square and were calling to see if we wanted to join them. We were just sittin' around, not doing much and thought it would be a fun thing to do. So we bundled up and headed to Salt Lake. We did not know what we were in for-backed up traffic all the way to farmington(coming from the North), crowds galore because of the Jazz game and several other things going on downtown. We finally made it to the Gateway and took tracks up(which is always fun for the kids to ride) to Temple Square. The hustle and bustle of people felt like Christmas though. It was enjoyable to just be out and about! Luckily there were a few places indoors that we could visit and get warm.
Ame was very excited to watch the life size nativity outside.
She was so overly concerned when she saw it playing, while we were INSIDE. She didn't understand it played over and over, so she wouldn't miss it!

Looks like fun! Kaipo's so cute.
what great memories you are making with your family. It looks really cold but wonderful--I remember Ame's touching comment last year about where Jesus is. You guys are teaching them well!
That looks so fun. I have wanted to go but we can't take Luka. I love that he called the temple a "castle". So cute!
There is nothing like Temple Square for the Christmas lights! Kids say the cutestes things - I love the castle comment. Just tell him he is a prince, and that someday he can go to that castle to get married to a princess!
